A Vibrant Ministry.
Make friends, grow in faith, serve others, and share your experiences with our church and community! Our Senior Adult Ministry welcomes our golden-aged members to join us so that they can trust in God and bear good fruit at every stage of life. Seniors are essential to our church, offering wisdom and guidance to younger generations which furthers our mission at Mims. We value the collective wisdom of our seniors and provide opportunities to advance God's work. The senior adults of Mims are a vital part of the church as many actively serve as Life Group leaders, greeters, shuttle drivers and ushers. Browse this page to learn more about senior offerings at Mims Baptist.

Serve
At Mims, we strongly believe that volunteering and serving others is not just a privilege but also a responsibility that we all have as Christians. We believe that every single person has unique gifts, talents, and abilities that can be used to make a difference in the lives of others. That's why, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey, there is a place for you to serve.
By serving, you have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on someone's life, and that can have a ripple effect on their families, friends, and the wider community. At the same time, serving others can also help you grow in your relationship with Jesus. It allows you to put your faith into action and to follow in the footsteps of Jesus, who taught us to love and serve others selflessly. Homebound
'Hearts To Hands' is the homebound ministry of Mims Baptist that represents our church in action, ministering to the needs of those who are no longer physically able to attend church. Homebound members often feel isolated and experience loss in various aspects of life, leading to spiritual isolation. If you are currently homebound and need assistance, please click below to fill our a brief form and someone will get back with you.
Likewise, we realize that fellow Christian friends from their church family are best suited to minister to them. If you would like to volunteer or find out more about our 'Hearts To Hands' ministry, please call the Education Office at 936-756-0065 or click below to serve with us.
