"The Greatest Gift" at Mims
Deadline to nominate a family in need for the holidays on Friday, Dec 9th!
John 3:16 tells us of God's great love, His incredible generosity, and the Greatest Gift of all, Jesus Christ. We can't outgive God, but we can reflect His heart through giving to others.
Church, we know of several families in need, and we can bless them together. You know families in need, too. Please click here or call us during the week to nominate a family, with kids 18 or under, to love this Christmas season.
Please have all the information you can ready, such as names, ages, genders, top and bottom sizes, shoe sizes, toy/game ideas, and more. We will ask you for these on the form or when we speak to you. We will keep families' and individuals' information anonymous. Please have your nominees in no later than Friday, December 9.
On Sunday, December 11, please stop by the Greatest Gift table in the foyer to select an individual or a family, go and shop for them, and return wrapped/labeled gifts to the foyer no later than Sunday, December 18.
Those who nominated each family will collect the gifts on Sunday, December 18 and deliver the gifts any time before Christmas Eve!
What an opportunity to share the love of Jesus together this season! Additionally, as a part of Greatest Gift at Mims, we will be collecting a special offering at our Christmas Eve service which will help families in financial need. The Lord loves cheerful givers, and this is who we are!
