Benevolence at Mims is to assist regular attenders/members and others in the community when possible, during times of emergency or financial crisis. Situations of need can, and often do,  arise unexpectedly.

We encourage those who are not a part of the Mims family to contact Community Assistance Center through their website or to call them at 936-539-9211. Our church has dedicated a portion of our Benevolence funds to our regular attenders/members who have demonstrated to be committed to Mims as their home church. 'Hearts To Hands' is the homebound ministry of Mims Baptist that represents our church in action, ministering to the needs of those who are no longer physically able to attend church.  Homebound members often feel isolated and experience loss in various aspects of life, leading to spiritual isolation. If you are currently homebound and need assistance, please click below to fill our a brief form and someone will get back with you.

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences.  GriefShare is a support group that meets weekly for those that have lost loved ones.
